Dr. Douglas Combs joined Southern OB/GYN in 2004.  Dr. Combs graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, OH and completed his OB/GYN residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, where he served as Chief Resident.  Dr. Combs is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Prior to joining Southern OB/GYN Dr. Combs practiced in Ohio and Virginia.   

Dr. Combs is a member of the Clinton County, Southern Illinois and Illinois State Medical Societies and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Dr. Combs special interests include laparoscopy and minimally-invasive surgery, ultrasound, routine and hi-risk obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Combs and his wife, Beth, have one daughter.  They enjoy traveling, barbequing and reading, watching the Cardinals, and football.
