Dr. Bonnie Gelly, MD FACOG

Dr. Gelly, MD joined Southern OB/GYN Associates (SOGA) in July 2007. She currently sees both obstetrics and gynecology patients in Breese and Highland, Illinois. Dr. Gelly’s special interests of practice include preventative women’s healthcare and routine screening, wellness and fitness, abnormal periods and bleeding, healthy eating and exercise and all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology.

After graduating from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Gelly completed her residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine Department of OB/GYN and Women’s Health. She then joined Southern OB/GYN Associates right out of residency and has been with the practice ever since.

Dr. Bonnie Gelly is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and by the American Board of Obestiy Medicine. She is a member of the Clinton County, Southern Illinois and Illinois State Medical Societies and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In addition to her role as a physician at SOGA, Dr. Gelly is also actively involved in treating patients at the SOGA Health and Wellness.

Dr. Gelly was born and raised in Highland, IL and now resides in Highland with her husband, Aaron and three sons. In their personal time, Dr. Gelly and her family enjoy attending sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
